Full credit for this assignment will depend on the quality of your thesis statement, organization, citation of specific evidence, and mechanics. Use the following outline to structure your review:

a. Hook that grabs the reader’s attention
b. Background information including the title, author, and a brief summary of the book, which does not give away the ending
c. Thesis statement that states whether or not you’d recommend the book and specifically why
II. Body Paragraphs (at least 2-3 of these)
a. Topic sentence evaluating the quality of the book’s characterization, language/writing, thematic development etc.
b. Specific supporting evidence
c. Analysis/commentary
III. Conclusion
a. Restate the thesis
b. Summarize the main ideas of the review as well as the thematic content of the book
